Maximise Your Life

7 years ago, I was asked to pray for a new born. I asked the mother what her expectations for her son was. Her response was tame and didn’t fill me with excitement.

When your highest expectation in life is to survive, you cannot maximise all that God has planned for you. ‘Getting by’ is not the God-intended life.

What’s stopping you?

It’s one thing to have external forces limiting you. But when you limit yourself, there’s no one to blame. It begins in your mind.

Don’t be content with average. Don’t be content to survive. Average is not good enough — there’s more in you, there’s more to come from you.

If you settle for less, life will give you less. But if you push yourself to go over and beyond, life will make room for you. Click To Tweet

Push hard for the best and even harder to be the true version of you that God created. His plans for you have always been about excellence, not mediocrity — Jeremiah 29:11.

Now you know, so what’s stopping you?

Not satisfied

Don’t be satisfied with earning a living. Don’t be content with your progress. Don’t settle. Please don’t.

Refuse to be comfortable when it comes to living on purpose. Remember, convenience makes no sense when you have a higher goal ahead of you.

Pursue life with relentless passion. Nothing less will do. Click To Tweet

There are lives to touch, souls to impact and great opportunities to grasp. Maybe it’s in your family. Maybe it’s beyond. But you must start and finish the course.

Don’t be satisfied until you have finished your assignment in this world.

Created to win

I told the mother of the new born:

God didn’t create us to survive but to win. ‘Survival’ is not God’s perfect purpose for our lives.

You were created for more. If you’re not purposeful, you’ll settle for whatever life brings. But with clarity of purpose, you’re equipped to be and do more with your life.

When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them a mandate to dominate the earth. That was God’s original plan and we must get back to that calling — Genesis 1:28.

You were created to win, not survive. There’s no doubt life will throw many stones at you but the challenges present perfect opportunity to experience victories.

There is so much greatness in you — it’s time to maximise your life, stretch yourself and watch what God will do in, with and through you.
