Just Start — Quit Waiting for Permission [Podcast]
In my previous post, I challenged you to do three things: reflect with thankfulness, prepare with anticipation and go all out to pursue and live out your purpose.
If you prefer to listen to this post on my newly launched podcast, go to the end of this post.
This is my last post of 2020 and it’s imperative to re-echo the charge:
Don’t wait for life to happen to you; attack it, risk it, chase your God-infused dreams. Enough excuses; go all out and all the way

On a recent video call with two young leaders, I was asked how they can sustain momentum in 2021. My answer was simple: “Just start!”
Just start
2020 caught many of us unawares. None of us had a contingency in our plans for a pandemic. And when it happened, life stalled for most.
However, beyond what we cannot control, we often limit and even undo our progress by over-planning and doing little. The surest way to finish and attain a goal is to start.
The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.

If this year has taught us one thing, it’s that we cannot delay purpose. If God has laid on your heart a passion, get on with it.
Just start. Momentum will come when you’re positively engaged in doing what God has called you to do.
You may make mistakes, but you will learn from them. You may fail at some ventures, but you will eventually succeed. You may be fearful, but go on and ‘do it afraid‘. No excuses; just start.
Quit waiting for permission
We do ourselves and others much disservice when we pause our lives, waiting for a stamp of approval from others.
You don't need man's permission to fulfil your God-intended purpose. Click To TweetIf you fail to go after your dreams and pursue your calling, no one will defend you when you stand before God. You can’t blame anyone.
Quit procrastinating. Quit waiting for permission to live your true life — by reason of birth and re-birth, you already have God’s permission. That’s all that truly matters.
A new dawn awaits you. Just start. Quit waiting for permission.
