I Will Thank You Forever

While we wait on the Lord for the needed breakthrough, let’s join the Psalmist who, in the middle of the evil perpetrated against him by Saul and Doeg the Edomite, declared:

“I will thank You forever,
because You have done it.
I will wait for Your name, for it is good,
in the presence of the godly”
(Psalm 52:9 ESV)

Over the years, I have learnt that thanksgiving, worship and gratitude in the face of the storm pleases God and moves His hand in our favour. I urge you to look forward to the week ahead with positive expectation because the Lord has done it, whatever the challenge.

Wait for Him; don’t fight in your own strength. No, don’t. Wait. And while you wait, be thankful. He will come through for you. He will come through for me. I believe.

What about you?
