I AM is for You

As I prayed tonight, the Holy Spirit led me again to Isaiah 41:10… I saw that verse in a different light:

“fear not, for I am with you;

be not dismayed, for I am your God…” (Isaiah 41:10 ESV)

Wait a minute; THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE IS FOR ME!?
Wow!!!

Our God is the God of hope. He knows we need hope. He knows we need reassurance. He knows we need help. He knows we need Him (God). And He offers hope, help and Himself unreservedly and relentlessly. He knows you are often battered and bruised. He knows you hop sometimes when you should be running. He knows your weakness. He knows you. And He says to you in that situation right now; He says to that cancer, He says to that overdrawn overdraft, He says to that overdue rent and mortgage, He says to that barrenness, He says to that sickness, He says to that lack…“Be it as it may, be not dismayed. I AM is for you”

I have no doubt my sleep will be sweet as I rest in His unfailing love. I beckon you to rest in Him too; He’s got the bill.
