Show up for the good fight
What do you do when life knocks you down? Here’s what you must do — ‘Get up, dust yourself clean, reposition yourself and keep fighting’.
That’s right; you don’t back down.
Too often we are quick to throw in the towel and give up. We are quick to accept defeat. When we are confronted with obstacles, we often buckle too easily.

Divine presence in the storm
God never promised us an easy, pain-free life. Instead, He gave us the assurance of His divine presence in the storm — Hebrews 13:5b.
I’ve had my share of disappointments. No doubt life sucks when plans fail to come together. But that’s exactly how purpose is tested; through the rigours of life.
No disappointment comes your way which wasn't in God's script. If He allowed it, there's a purpose for it. Click To TweetWhatever your current situation, you must remain resolute. Stay focused on purpose. Be intentional and continue to make your life count where you are.
Struck down but not destroyed
Granted, life is no easy ride. But the alternative is to waste your life, if you buckle at the roar of the devil.
Would you rather go to the grave with all the BIG dreams and visions God has placed in your heart or step out in faith? Would you rather die full or empty?
Yes, you may get knocked down a few times (2 Corinthians 4:8-9), but victory is on the other side of getting back up and fighting. Remember, you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength — Philippians 4:13.
Show up for the good fight
There are many ‘good’ reasons to hide when life gets tough. But that’s exactly when God wants you to show up. When the rest of Israel shirked, David showed up.
Living purposefully is a huge responsibility. It can feel overwhelming sometimes to stay intentional. But like David facing Goliath, you’re neither alone nor doing life on your own.
You cannot claim victory unless you’re present in the fight of your life — the fight to trust God for the present regardless of the raging winds, to live for a cause greater than life itself, to honour God with your life, to fulfil purpose.
So face your fears, embrace the challenges and pursue life… all in the name above all, Jesus.
If you must win, you must show up for the good fight.
