Three Pillars of Successful Living (Part 1)
We want to succeed.
We strive for excellence.
We are desperate to achieve.
We seek meaning. We genuinely crave significance. We pray to be a blessing to others and influence those around us. That’s the life we’re called to live, right?

A solid life needs solid foundation
So how do we go about doing this? No house is built without a foundation. And no strong, steady house stands but on a solid foundation.
Foundations are massively important in life. How and what you build becomes irrelevant if your foundation is weak.
There are three key significant pillars which, if embraced, will change your life. I’ve tested them; they’re super awesome and fundamental to living the life that matter.
Pillar One: Endurance
Persistence.
“…continuing a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.”
Successful people are tenacious and never give up despite mounting difficulties. They develop a strong resolve to overcome life’s challenges.
They rise above the horizon of fear of the unknown and reach for what others are afraid to attempt. They go over and beyond, they go the full stretch.
If you’re not committed to endure pain and hardship, success becomes elusive. The hard places of life build our faith and resilience.
Are you willing to go the extra mile?
Why you should endure
Among many, there’s one reason you need to persist despite the challenges you’re facing today. Here’s why:
“Your story is powerful. The world needs you around to tell it”
As a leadership coach, I’ve often sat with young leaders who tell me how frustrated they are and want to quit leadership. Over and over again, the story is the same – they want the leadership thrills but not willing to face their giants.
The brick wall experiences make our stories all the more sweeter.
I’m quick to point out to upcoming leaders and youngsters the hardships I endured yesterday so they don’t get carried away focusing only on today’s successes.
So we need you to persist. Your story could inspire a generation. If you quit today, we all miss out.
Do you agree that persistence is fundamental to successful life? Got an experience to share? Watch out for Part 2.
