Dear 2017
Dear Awesome 2017,
Here’s a letter from me to you.
I welcome you. I’ve looked with earnest expectation for your arrival. And I am delighted to finally meet you. Now listen, as I set things in order between us.
Many have predicted you’ll be a difficult year. Experts have warned of the impact of Brexit. Many fear you’ll come with lots of challenges.
You have been prodicted by some as a year to watch out for… for all the wrong reasons. Many econimic analysts are worried about you.
But I don’t get what the fuss is all about. Why? Because I have a diferent prediction, hence I summon you to listent to me.
My name is Joseph Iregbu and I’m a son of promise and a man of purpose!
I don’t do pessimism. I simply believe. My faith compels and inspires me. And that is why I believe the following:
Brexit or no Brexit, you will be a great year for me and mine… a year of Better Things!
I need you to listen carefully! I know you’ve come with some tough times but not for me or mine. You ask about my confidence? No, that’s where you’re wrong; it’s not about me. The One who created and controls you already told me everything will be alright for me and mine.
Together, we will cover ground for Christ, win souls, pursue God with great passion, influence lives, help many discover and live on purpose, and be a channel of blessing to others. This year is all about one thing:
Oh, we have much work to do.
Simply unpack your bag and begin to release the grace and blessings you brought with you. And if you need a hand, do let me know; I will gladly help. I promise we will both have a great time together in the next 12 months. Seriously, you will enjoy me!
And guess what? Of all I’ve said, you’re not allowed any question. Just do as I’ve told you. All enquiries can be directed to The One that sent you to me! Thanks for your cooperation.
Oh, did I say how much I already love you?
Yours truly,
Joseph Iregbu
