Come and Dine
Christ is the Mediator of the new covenant (to those that have put their faith in Him), a new covenant that tore down the veil of sin which separated us from God. Now we have full access to the all-abiding grace and mercy of God through Christ. If you are born again, be rest assured that Christ stands for you. If you’re not yet, what are you waiting for?
I bid you come; come and dine at the Master’s feet, come and drink of the free-flowing grace of Christ, come and eat of the Bread of Life so that you never hunger for the food that never fills, come and partake of the marriage supper of the Lamb, come and receive peace for your troubled soul. Yes, our world is full of troubles, but God has made a way of escape and He promises rest to all that trust in Him. Christ bids you, “Come and Dine”.
The answer is not in keeping the rights of the law, but in the acceptance of the grace that Christ provides.
The law will dry you up and weaken you, but grace in Christ will strengthen and revive your soul. The law tells you to run and gives you no shoes, but grace bids you fly and gives you wings to soar. Look away from your carnal works and look through the window of faith to focus on the grace of God. Come and dine, for all things are now ready. Yes, come and dine with your Maker. Why would you settle for crumbs when you have an offer of buffet before you? Come and dine, for Christ calleth thee this day.
COME!!!
