I Challenge You
“Broken people don’t need another social network, they need hope.”
Encourage someone today with that tweet

The world is replete with broken lives
We are surrounded by hurting souls
We have lonely people around us
We are ‘socially’ connected but lack a sense of real community
We live in networks, yet in personal isolation
We are needy people
We are broken in some measure, all of us
And the world has tried so hard to be helpful
But not many are giving what is desperately needed: HOPE
Broken people don’t need another social network, they need hope
Disconnected lives can live without new technologies but not hope
Lonely people need people, not another virtual friendship request
What do you have to offer?
What will you do to give someone hope today?
Who will you embrace today with the words: “Everything is going to be alright”
What will you do?
Action: Today, I challenge you to offer hope. Send a text message, make a call, post a letter, send an email, reach out today. Here’s all you need to say: “Don’t give up. Everything will be alright“ Tweet that!
Go on, do it. And be intentional about it.

Thanks for this Joseph. You can write for the Lord all day, and that can be important, but the Lord loved people by engaging them. Great timing for me to hear this right now.
Kurt, we all need the challenge without exception. It’s so easy to become intellectual about life that we forget to live it. God help us. But thanks for being awesome!
