I sat in church without fear that someone would object to my faith in Christ. The weight of such a privilege bore down. I’d done nothing to “earn” such a gift (of freedom), yet I enjoyed it.
Convicted!
I’ve done nothing to ensure it continues for future generations. Nor have I done anything more than utter the occasional prayer for persecuted Christians around the globe.
I was convicted.
The world is hurting. Christians are hurting…and not just the ones tortured for their faith. Daily, each Christian must decide if they will trust God, if they will follow after Him with all they have, or if they will cater to their flesh.
Sadly, many Christians aren’t prepared to fight for their love of Christ because their love of self is too strong. Also, they don’t know WHO God is, so they’re vulnerable to the deceptions of satan.
Standing on the precipice
My new book, The Precipice: When Everything We Know Ends, challenges readers to take their walk with Christ to the next level by showing how precarious our world is. This book is a compilation of three short stories combined with Modern Events and Discussion Questions.
It will help readers evaluate where they place their trust, determine how firmly they are planted in Christ, and provide understanding in the need for a healthy fear of an ever expanding government combined with a reverent fear of God.
The world is changing. The Bible tells us it will happen.
The News tells us it is happening.
Today is the day of Salvation.
Today is the day to renew your dedication to the One who called you into Eternal life.
Life is meant to be more than the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the pleasures we enjoy or even the things we accomplish.
Are you ready?
Life is about being connected to our Creator and living a life worthy of the name, “Christian”.
The world is changing, but God’s Word never will. He says we are either with Him or against Him. To live in the “middle” isn’t an option.
