When Miracles Are Not Enough…

Matthew 11:20 (ESV)

God can do great and mighty miracles in one’s life or in a place but that does not commend us to God; except a man repents he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Repentance from all sin is God’s yardstick to input to us His righteousness, not miracles. Let’s not be children but men and women who understand the mind of God. Though Jesus did great miracles in these cities, yet they did not believe. We see this trend a lot in lives and churches today; we see people come out for a touch of God and they fall under the anointing. That’s great but if you’re still living in known sin, immorality, lying, stealing, fornication, adultery, etc, of what use is the miracle that does not lead you to repentance, holiness and godliness?

Seek ye first God’s kingdom and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! No one can present miracles as his/her credentials before the gates of heaven to be allowed entry. It’s not about the gifts but the fruits of the Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit are great but without holiness of life, gentleness, humility, love for God and man, self control you will lose everything and gain nothing before God.

Let us repent; Christians and sinners alike and seek God’ heart first before His hands.

Many blessings.
